How to Play
The 'competition' is based on a squad of
players selected by you, the 'Manager'.
You select your squad from the BUY PLAYERS section, incorporating 'Goalkeepers', 'Defenders',
'Midfielders' & 'Strikers'.
You will have to decide on a starting eleven
in either, a '4-3-3' or '4-4-2' formation; this formation is changeable
throughout the duration of the season, according to the 'tactics of ', or
'players available to' each 'Manager', i.e. YOU!;
It is then up to you to decide on the
strength of your squad, remembering that, just as in the real world of
Premiership football, better players will cost more, as will strength in
depth.

Please note: Clicking "Remove" will only remove the player from your starting eleven, and will not delete him from your account.
To Add a player click on his name in the list below.
Squad Bench
-
The above example shows what money can
buy & it would be fair to say that we already have a club within
the Premiership that could afford to assemble this much talent into
one squad, hyperthetically.
-
Therefore, purely for the purposes of
this 'competition' we have created a level playing field, so to
speak, whereby you can spend as 'much' or as 'little' as you want
assembling your squad; up to a point; i.e. you cannot exceed 25
players in your squad, which may be a little excessive anyway, you
might think that between 15 & 18 would be enough & this would, of course
depend on injuries, suspensions etc., however, loss of form is where a
larger squad can make all the difference.
-
You might decide to find some bargain
players who are consistent performers, thereby assembling a squad with
good depth but not as costly.
Above you can see the Player names / Player clubs / Player points totals / Player positions columns & a column that enables you to make substitutions to your starting eleven, in addition to this there is an 'ACTIVE' column.
This column will tell you whether or not a player played in his most recent premiership match (TRUE) or whether he did not ; through either injury, suspension, being dropped etc.; (FALSE), this is designed to enable you to make better informed substitutions, however you can also use our 'auto sub feature if you choose.
We have included a unique 'auto-sub'
feature, which basically means that if, for any reason, a player in your
starting eleven does not play in a match, whether this be through injury,
suspension or loss of form etc., then providing you have a player on the
squad bench who occupies the same position (i.e. GK / DEF / MID / STR),
this player will automatically replace him.
If you have two or three eligible replacements, then the replacement who
has; at that particular time; the highest accumulated points over the
season will be fielded.
This 'special feature' has been developed because it seems very
difficult, if not verging on the impossible, to ascertain who is actually
injured prior to a match & who is portrayed as being injured for 'tactical
reasons' , or simply 'manager mind games'
With the 'auto-sub' feature
you can be sure you will, at the very least, have a player in the starting
eleven who can score some points & bear in mind, the feature only
comes into use when a player you have selected in your starting eleven,
actually does not play for any reason, giving you the best of both worlds.
'You must remember to put
the substituted player back in when available again if you so wish, or
they will not come back in until injuries etc. allow them to'. There is also a transfer
window in January, as in reality. For
